The City of Owen Sound is hosting a family events night at the Julie McArthur Rec Centre on New Year's Eve.
This free event is being put on by the city and the YMCA.
A city press release says that at 4 pm, activities like swimming, cookie decorating and a Scout's racetrack will be happening until a massive balloon drop at 6:30 pm.
There will also be entertainment with clowns and a dance zone.
The release says that food will be able to be purchased at the event.

The city does ask that attendees refrain from bringing nuts or nut products to the event.
