Grey Bruce OPP say they located human remains along Southgate Road 10 just east of Highway 6 in the Township of Southgate.
Police say they received reports of the remains being found on December 24th.
Little details are available but a criminal investigation has been launched with multiple forensic services working under the OPP Criminal Investigations Branch.
OPP are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
