The Municipality of West Grey says they are getting closer to finding a new home for their police service.
In a press release the Municipality says that the purchase of a property in the former town of Durham, located on Durham Road West, will likely be the West Grey Police Services new headquarters.
Mayor Christine Robinson is quoted in the release as saying “this is a significant step toward building a police headquarters that will meet the needs of our police force as they serve our citizens today and as West Grey continues to grow.”
The release says the next step will be issuing a request for proposal for the design and construction of the new HQ.
