Owen Sound police say a collision Thursday sent one person to the hospital.
Police say it happened at about 3:30 in the afternoon at 8th Street East and 4th Avenue East.
police say their investigation revealed a driver of a 2014 black Mazda proceeded southbound through the intersection colliding with an eastbound 2011 brown Honda.
The driver of the Mazda was charged with failing to yield to traffic on a through highway.
The driver of the Honda, who police say is pregnant was transported to hospital on a precautionary basis.
Her condition was not readily available at the time of the police media release.
