The Chesley and District Health Services Foundation says $100,000 in funding from Bruce Power will be used to purchase central cardiac monitors for Chesley Hospital.
The funds come from a five-year, $100,000 commitment that Bruce Power is making to the foundation to assist with health care in the Chesley and district community.
Mike Rencheck, Bruce Power President and CEO says, “among the most important issues that families face is health care, and we believe it's our responsibility to help address the needs of our workers and the residents who live in our rural communities,” said Mike Rencheck, Bruce Power President and CEO.
Lindsay Manery, Board Chair of the Chesley and District Health Services Foundation, says “the direct impact of Bruce Power's donation of $100,000 is measurable in the difference it will make for the physicians, nurses and patients at the Chesley Hospital.”
“We are all very grateful to Bruce Power for its very tangible support of health-care services in this area.”
