Well, the answer is ” yes ” and will continue to be ” yes ” for as long as they’ll have me.
Since 2003, boy time goes fast, I’ve been trackside at Hanover primarily as an extension of their marketing and promotional department, informing fans of what’s ahead plus conducting the odd contest here and there.
Did I ever tell you about the time I cost the track $ 700 in a botched TV giveaway ?
Still, graciously, they keep inviting back and truthfully, I love it.
I barely know one end of the horse from the other but it doesn’t impact the overall enjoyment of the night, the people and especially the power, the speed and the grace of trotters and pacers.
The 2016 Hanover Raceway season opens tomorrow night with the first race set for 7:15 pm. See you there.
