It’s a busy day, right in the middle of a busy sequence of days.
First of all, we want to thank everyone for their support of the Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation yesterday.
Next, today, the first Thursday in June, is another big day in our region with the 24th annual Crimestoppers of Grey Bruce Golf Tournament being staged at Chippewa Golf Club in Southampton.
Through the years, this tournament has assisted the Crimestoppers program in keeping our region safe, plus it’s also featured some of the most prominent names in sport- the special guest this year will be Hockey Hall of Fame member Adam Oates.
Plus, tonight through the weekend is another busy run of lacrosse in Owen Sound.
The Coldwell Banker Junior NorthStars face Elora tonight in a pivotal Midwest Division game.
Meanwhile, in Senior Lacrosse, there’s a first place showdown tomorrow night when the league leading Six Nations Rivermen come to Owen Sound.
The Senior NorthStars are also at home on Sunday afternoon against Brooklin.
