Hi this is Fred Wallace with ” Off the Wire ” brought to you by your local Auto Logic….The Logical Choice.
Yesterday was a fun morning, certainly an active morning, moreso than most days.
Usually, I’m in here bright and early, scamper for about 90 minutes to get everything in order and then cruise through the remainder of the day primarily because all the events in my time zone either were completed the night before or are being staged during the evening ahead.
Not so yesterday.
First Larisa Yurkiw was somewhere in Italy at a World Cup Downhill Training session, getting primed for the weekend ahead.
Meanwhile in Woodstock, the Ontario Senior Men’s Curling Championship had an interesting matchup in Draw 2, Peter Mellor from the Chesley Curling Club was up against Daryl Shane of Harriston who has some prominent names from our region on his rink.
Plus, in Norway, Owen Sound forward Connor Roberts was playing for Canada against Norway at the World Youth Olympic Hockey Tournament in Lillehammer.
Truthfully, I like routine mornings, but yesterday was a delightful change from an activity standpoint
Have a great weekend.
I’m Fred Wallace
