Hi this is Fred Wallace with ” Off the Wire ” brought to you by your local Auto Logic….The Logical Choice.
Mid-February is a great time for hockey in these parts.
Everywhere you look there’s a game, and in most cases, a BIG game.
Last night in the Ontario Hockey League, the Attack doubled the Kitchener Rangers 4-2, coming from behind to do so.
Friday, Owen Sound who have points in their last 4 outings opens a home and home with the Storm at Guelph.
Tonight in the Greater Metro Junior Hockey League, the Knights of Meaford host the Bradford Rattlers while the Grey Highlands Bravehearts visit Alliston
Both Grey County teams are the underdogs going in.
The Georgian MidOntario Junior C Semifinals opened last night with Erin and Penetanguishene winning.
The Western Junior C Semifinals resume this weekend with both Walkerton and Kincardine holding 1 game to none leads.
And in Senior Hockey, a very good WOAA series between the Thundercats and Winterhawks resumes tomorrow night at Durham with the best of 7 all squared at 2 wins apiece.
Every night, every league, there’s always a big hockey game at this time of the year.
I’m Fred Wallace
