Wednesday is Big Brothers Day at Pizza Hut in Owen Sound
Half of all Pizza sales, all dine-in, take out or delivery sales, including the Lunch Buffet, will be directed to support Big Brothers of Owen Sound.
And don’t forget, the annual ” Bowl for Kid’s Sake ” is March 4th and 5th at the Bowling Alley on 10th Street West with Cory Laycock as your Saturday MC.
Next, the city of Owen Sound will host summer minor sports registration on Tuesday, February 23rd and again on Wednesday, March 2.
Registration both days runs from 5:30 to 8 pm at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre
Groups participating in the registration are: Minor Baseball, Minor Lacrosse, Minor Soccer, Satellites Gymnastic Club, Owen Sound Aquatic Club, and Classical Karate.
And, while it’s a long way off, registration is now open for the 7th annual Bayshore Race in Owen Sound.
This year, the race will be staged on Sunday, August 28th and after a 1 year absence, features the return of the half marathon, albeit without the Annan Hill climb.

The year 2016 will be as busy as always and ” Bowl For Kids Sake “, Summer Minor Sports Registration and the Bayshore Race are just three of the significant events on the horizon.
