A weekend in late January is always active in our region
Among the most active sites will be the town of Meaford, specifically, the Meaford and St Vincent Community Centre where the Skating Club is hosting ” Ice Dreams “.
” Ice Dreams ” is the annual competition conducted by Central Ontario Section giving all kinds of skaters from all kinds of communities in all kinds of age groups the opportunity to showcase a routine.
In every case, months of preparation has been devoted to creating a routine that will allow the skater to showcase their ability in a competitive setting.
There’s no ” next stage ” in the competition. Put simply, every skater has the opportunity to perform and assess that performance this weekend so they’re better aware and better prepared for a bigger competition somewhere down the line.
” Ice Dreams ” in Meaford commences at 8 am both Saturday and Sunday.
