Among the sure signs of a summer season fading away is the season finale set for Sauble Speedway this Saturday night.
But in true Sauble fashion, the season will not end quietly, certainly not in the Late Model Division.
The points title in almost every category at Sauble Speedway has been virtually decided, with Late Model being the major exception.
Going into Saturday’s finale, Josh Stade has the overall points lead by a narrow margin over Jason Parker.
Not coincidentally, those two finished 1-2 in the feature last Saturday.
And just beyond Parker lurks Junior Farrelly whose had a solid season highlighted by some rear to top rushes.
The Can-Am Midgets will also be featured as part of Saturday’s year end card.
And while the curtain is about to fall on the race season, the final act carries a great deal of intrigue in the Late Model Division.
