Adam Jones is a busy guy these days.
From a lacrosse standpoint, you’ll find him here and there whether it’s playing at the elite level of the game or coaching in the House League division with Owen Sound Minor Lacrosse.
On an already busy agenda, Jones has two other significant events on the horizon.
First, from June 28th-30th, Jones will be among the professional instructors at the Laxlife Summer Camp in Owen Sound.
The camp features instruction in both Box lacrosse & Field Lacrosse and has a flexible age range designed for youngsters between 8 & 16.
Over the course of the 3 days, basics, skills, techniques and game situations will all be addressed, climaxing with a scrimmage tournament at the end of the affair.
For more information on the camp, visit www.laxlife.ca.
Then, once the camp has concluded, Adam Jones will wing his way back to Denver to compete for Canada at the World Lacrosse Championships which commence July 10th.
Interestingly, this is virtually the same event that his father, Brian, competed at in the late 70’s in England.
Obviously, financing this junket will be expensive, and to that end Jones has received support from Owen Sound Minor Lacrosse, the Senior Quantum Properties NorthStars and Sunday’s Garb & Gear Junior NorthStars game will also be a fundraiser for a very busy Adam Jones
