Since we’re doing restaurant reviews, I’d also like to do hearty recommendation for Tita’s Grill
Tita’s slogan is simply, ” Ah You Hungry “. And after you’ve eaten at Tita’s, you won’t be lacking for nourishment.
From a sports standpoint, the hook for me is that Tita’s is owned and operated by Junior Ah You, the former Canadian Football League star.
Ah You was a standout defensive end for the Montreal Alouettes through the 1970’s.
How good was Junior Ah You ?
Very good.
He was one of just 7 players to have his number, #77, retired by the Alouettes and he also has a place in the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.
As for Tita’s, I certainly enjoyed the meal, although Junior Ah You wasn’t on hand, undergoing an MRI the day I was there.
I’m sure you’d enjoy a meal at Tita’s too. All you have to do is stop by the location on the Kamehameha Highway at Kahuku in Hawaii
