It’s makeup night for the Owen Sound Attack & Guelph Storm tonight in the Ontario Hockey League.
Their game last Saturday at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Centre was snowed out and was rescheduled for tonight at 7 pm.
Your tickets from Saturday are good for tonight which is also Saugeen Golf Club Night.
Furthermore, we’ve also decreed tonight to be ” Offensive Explosion Night “.
In their last 5 games, the Attack have scored two goals. They’ve won one of those 5 matches.
In their last 11 games, the Attack have scored 3 times in a game on just 4 occasions and have 3 wins in that period.
And while this version of the Attack have been competitive almost throughout, there’s no doubt they need to upgrade their offensive production, while maintaining their compete level and committment to defence.
You have to believe Owen Sound is due for an offensive output similar to the 6 goals they potted after Christmas when they dropped Niagara 6-2.
And while they may be due, the reality is that it’s Guelph they’re up against tonight, not Niagara, which represents the dilemma and the challenge facing this group of Owen Sound juniors as they hit the homestretch of the regular season.
