The round trip from Owen Sound to Hanover & back will be well traveled in the next two days.
First of all, tomorrow night is Hanover Rona Night at Hanover Raceway, their second last card of the 2013 harness racing season, featuring the 2 year old filly trotters in Ontario Sire Stakes.
Post time tomorrow night is 7:30 pm.
Then Sunday afternoon at 2 pm, across the street at the P & H Centre, Hanover Minor Hockey is hosting an Ontario Hockey League exhibition game between the Owen Sound Attack & the Erie Otters.
Hanover Minor Hockey President Steve Fitzsimmons is extremely grateful to the two OHL clubs for conducting the contest, something he believes is the biggest fundraiser in the history of the association.
A profile event like this one can only further enhance the profile of the association, which Fitzsimmons says is experiencing a growth in registration where the majority of associations across the country are not.
The doors at the P & H Centre open Sunday afternoon at 12:30 and seating is on a ” first come-first served ” basis for the Attack & Otters.
