Does the 26th annual Owen Sound Salmon Spectacular wrap up this weekend with the leaders anxiously watching the harbour and the clock ?
Is this the final weekend of racing at Sauble Speedway, with back to back cards featuring year end championships and the Can Am Midgets tomorrow night and Sunday afternoon at 1 pm. ?
The Thunder Car division is coming down to the wire with Chad Eden & Joe Adams separated by the most narrow of margins.
By the way, Varney Motor Speedway has back to back nights too including fireworks at the Sunday night show.
Hanover Raceway. Are they having their Balanced Image Final tomorrow night ? If it’s not Labour Day, it must be close.
And I understand the Barrie Colts are coming to Owen Sound Sunday afternoon for the opener of their annual exhibition home and home series with the Attack. The rematch of the annual set is Monday night at Barrie, which is…………Labour Day.
Sure it’s been a good summer. And yes, there are big things in front of us. But there’s something about hitting Labour Day that makes you wonder where the time and endless summer went.
