Here we go.
The post Christmas segment of the Ontario Hockey League begins this afternoon with the traditional game at Plymouth, this year between the Whalers & the London Knights.
Here in Owen Sound tonight, the Attack return from their Christmas Break to host the Niagara IceDogs.
If you’ve been following the World Junior Hockey Championship, you’re well aware that 4 IceDogs; Mark Visentin, Ryan Strome, and the Hamilton Brothers are all members of the Canadian entry.
As such, the IceDogs lineup is a tad shy for the game tonight.
However, do not under estimate the Niagara entry, full strength or otherwise.
They have 3 exceptional overagers in Andrew Agozzino, Alex Friesen and David Pacan.
Furthermore, a game against Owen Sound is probably plenty of motivation for former Attackers Myles Doan & Steven Shipley.
The IceDogs, at full strength, might be the team to beat in the Eastern Conference this season. And even at 3/4 strength, this will be a good test early for the Attack
Game time tonight is 7 pm at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Centre
