Did you hear the news last week regarding the Owen Sound Woodsmen ?
After a lengthy search, the Woodsmen have secured a new major sponsor for their Ontario Senior Lacrosse operation.
Quantum Properties, a relatively new business in the city, has come to an agreement with the Woodies and will be the club’s major sponsor, replacing long time sponsors, van Dolders Home Team and Berner’s Contracting.
Quantum Properties are following in some pretty significant footsteps, as the van Dolders=Berner combination had been at the helm for years and the club enjoyed tremendous success.
In an endeavour like the Woodsmen, never underestimate the positive impact of a good, or great, sponsor.
The Woodsmen won 2 National Championships and a number of provincial titles under the previous regime, and while the players score the goals, the balance of the operation is supported by a strong sponsorship.
