The Owen Sound Bluewater Pro Team NorthStars padded their management structure and released their training camp schedule this week.
First of all, Andy Barfoot has been appointed to the position of Assistant General Manager for the Owen Sound ProTeam NorthStars Junior B Lacrosse Club.
Barfoot, who has done a variety of duties through the years with the club, will assist General Manager Brad Bowers with all of the day to day activities associated with the GM position.
Is this part of a succession plan with the NorthStars as Bowers has had the GM post for most of a decade ?
We’ll see.
Meanwhile, the NorthStars released their training camp dates for 2011.
The Training Camp will be held at the Shallow Lake Community Centre in April.
The dates are April 2nd & 3rd; 9th & 10th & 16th & 17th from 11am-1pm for all 6 sessions.
The regular season for the NorthStars is scheduled to begin April 30th with a home game at the J.D. McArthur Arena.
