Yesterday had to be the worst day in the history of professional sports.
It was a day off with the exception of exhibition NBA.
No football.
The CFL resumes Friday with Edmonton at Hamilton.
The NFL is idle til Sunday.
No hockey.
The regular season for the Leafs starts tomorrow. I think it starts tomorrow for the other NHL teams too, but we only care about the Leafs.
And no baseball. Again.
But today, after a 2 day hiatus, we’ve got baseball all day. Playoff baseball.
Texas is at Tampa Bay at 1:30 in the American semifinal opener.
The Reds & Phillies follow at 5 pm in a National League semifinal
& then back to the American League for the Yankees and Twins tonight at 8:30.
Tomorrow night, the Braves & Giants open their National League semifinal at San Francisco.
