A busy week in these parts is followed naturally by a busy weekend.
In fact the sports aspect of the weekend begins this morning and runs all weekend with the SCTA Minor Bantam Year-End Tournament.
Both the Bayshore & Coliseum will be utilized today and tomorrow with the top 4 teams advancing to the 2 semifinal games on Sunday afternoon at the J.D. McArthur Arena.

The WOAA Senior Hockey playoffs resume tonight with the North Final openers at Elora and Durham respectively.
Plus, both Western Junior C Semifinals resume tonight with games at Walkerton & Mitchell.
From an OHL standpoint, it’s a busy time on and off the ice for the Owen Sound Attack.
They have their ” Fight Back for Cancer ” day tomorrow afternoon, prior to their contest Saturday night against Erie.
Also, at Home Depot tomorrow, it’s Fan Button Day, a chance to win Home Depot prizes during the Attack game on Saturday against the Otters.
And on another note, the annual Bowl for Big Brothers is tomorrow from 1 pm to 3:30 at Westside Bowl.
