But Derek Hartwick’s third goal of the game helped salvage a 9-8 overtime victory for the Aces on Friday in the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League.
Rama forward Ryan Brain had a big night (2 goals, 3 assists) with 5 points as did Francesco Corona (1 goal, 3 assists) with 4 points.
Artem Khokholev, Cory Naughton, Joey Molfetta rounded out the scoring for the Aces (18-14-0-0).
Aaron Scott helped ignite the Bradford rally with 3 third-period goals.
Jean-Phillip Bouchard also had a hat trick while former Ace DJ Tahbazian and Illes Gallo each collected singles for the Rattlers (21-7-0-4).
Rama took advantage of the power play, scoring five times on nine chances.
The Aces outshot the Rattlers 55-51 and will host the Bobcaygeon Bucks next Friday night at the MASK.
