at Charlotte Motor Speedway
Brad Keselowski held off Jimmie Johnson.
Keselowski started in the back of the field, worked his way to the front and gambled by not pitting when caution stopped Chase Elliott from winning with two laps remaining.
It is the first win for Keselowski this season, his first Coca-Cola 600 victory and the first win at this event for Ford since 2002.
The opening stage of the event was delayed by rain pushing the finish into this morning

The Greater Metro Junior Hockey League Draft was staged on Saturday.
The Knights of Meaford selected Zack Turpin of the Fresno Monsters 3rd overall with their first round pick
Among the choices for the Knights was Collingwood native Jaeden French who played last year for the Grey Bruce Highlanders
Meaford also took 3 players from the French River Rapids, a team that was formerly coached by Corey Bricknell who now is the head coach of the Knights.

The rings feature monuments and a nod to the song “Baby Shark”
There are 30 rubies in each ring representing the 30 runs the Nats scored in their 4 wins over the Houston Astros.

Coyotes Reach Meaford
The Georgian Bay Coyotes are conducting a virtual Cross Canada trek accumulating training miles to to essentially from St John's, Newfoundland to the Pacific Ocean.
To this point, the Coyotes have logged more than 3,300 kilometres over 4 weeks which theoretically has them stationed in Meaford
