The Ontario Hockey League Priority selection was staged today.
The Owen Sound Attack selected Defenceman Anthony Bax of the Oakville Rangers 10th overall.
Attack General Manager Dale DeGray related that Bax is a good puck handler who demonstrates good on ice vision.
Owen Sound admitted they were seeking a defender, specifically Bax, and were somewhat happy to see an early run on Goaltenders in the draft.
The Attack utilized two more picks in the annual draft of graduating Midget aged players.
With pick # 30, the Attack chose Goalkeeper Benjamin Bates from the Kitchener Junior Rangers .
And with their final selection, the 50th pick overall Owen Sound took Left Winger Chet Hudson from the Huron Perth Lakers.
