Owen Sound Attack captain Aidan Dudas is among 14 forwards vying for a spot on Team Canada at the upcoming World Junior Hockey Championship.
Hockey Canada trimmed its selection camp roster down to 24 players yesterday, sending nine skaters home.
Among those released were forwards Cole Perfetti, Alex Newhook, Peyton Krebs, Dylan Holloway and Connor Zary. Blueliners Peter Diliberatore, Thomas Harley and Braden Scheider were also sent home, as was goaltender Hunter Jones.
According to a TSN report, one more player will need to be cut prior to the start of the 2020 World Junior Hockey Championship on Dec. 26 in the Czech Republic.
