The Owen Sound Junior Attack “Gaviller & Company” Major Bantam team outscored their opponents 33 to 2 in five games to win the Owen Sound Fall Classic Tournament.
The Junior Attack started the tournament with a win against the Toronto East Enders on Friday 8 to 0. Junior Attack goals scored by Jon Frook (3), Brady Stewart, Jake McNabb, Nick Foster, Matt Giefert and Dylen Bridge. Ethan Woods recorded the shutout.
Saturday saw the Major Bantams win two games starting with a win against the Lindsay Muskies 5 to 1. Goals scored by Trent Duncan, Jake McNabb, Brady Stewart, Foxton Mezenberg and Matt Giefert. Kallen Macumber was in net for the win.
The second game Saturday was a 10 to 0 win against Oshawa. Jake McNabb and Foxton Mezenberg each scored a pair and single goals by Jon Frook, Brady Stewart, Trent Duncan, Dylen Bridge, Nick Foster and Jesse Schmid. Ethan Woods recorded the shutout.
Sunday morning the Junior Attack won the semi-final game against Oshawa 6 to 0. Kallen Macumber recorded the shutout. Foxton Mezenberg had the hattrick and goals scored by Trent Duncan, Nick Foster and Matt Giefert.
The Championship game was a 4 to 1 win against the Lindsay Muskies. Junior Attack goals scored by Jake McNabb, Jesse Schmid, Brady Stewart and Nick Kazarian scored the empty netter. Ethan Woods was in net for the win.

Township of Chatsworth Kuhl Machine Shop Rebels defeated the Arran Elderslie Ice Dogs 4-2 Sunday afternoon in Paisley
Scoring for the Rebels were Joel Delleman with 2, and one each for Brendan
Batterman and Jordan Baumber.
Wyatt Borton scored both goals for the Ice Dogs.

The Owen Sound Attack Aveda Mane Street Hair Salon Minor Midgets played 3 Tri-County Hockey games this weekend.
On Friday at the JMRRC they lost 4-1 to the Woolwich Wildcats.
Nelson Maxwell had the lone marker.
On Saturday they lost to the Burlington Eagles 4-1 in Burlington.
Scott Long was the lone scorer.
On Sunday at the JMRRC the team lost to the Burlington Eagles 4-1.
Mitch Wand scored for Owen Sound.
Bantam Girls
The Owen Sound Ice Hawks hosted the Barrie Sharks on Sat. Oct. 13th.
Mayor Deb Haswell was in attendance for the official puck drop of their first game at home.
The Ice Hawks won 2 – 1,
Goal scorers were Miranda Bruce, and Alexis Martin.

On Sunday, the girls hosted The Aurora Panthers, losing 3 – 1.
The lone goal scored by Brianne Becker for the Ice Hawks.

The Mullin Electric/Bluewater Fire & Security Icehawks played in the Clarington Applefest tournament this past weekend.
Their opening game was against the Rideau St. Lawrence Thunder where they were defeated 7-0.
In the 2nd game Victoria Janes scored in a match against the home team Clarington Flames in a 2-1 loss.
Their third game against the St. Catherines Chaos ended in a 6-0 loss.
In the final matchup of the weekend, the Icehawks took on the Aurora Panthers in a hard-fought 4-0 loss.

Matthew Bumstead scored assisted by Seamus Furness and Brady Blackman as the Owen Sound Attack tied visiting Elmvale on Sunday in Georgian Bay Minor Hockey League action.
Jacob Pretty made a diving poke check save to stop an Elmvale breakaway, in the final seconds of the 3rd.
Owen Sound was also blanked 6-0 in Collingwood on Saturday.
The Wiarton Foodland/Propeller Club Bruce Peninsula Predators lost Saturday 3 – 2 to Kincardine in WOAA Pee Wee Local League play.
Rebecca Martindale and Alyssa Daws scored for the Predators.

On Saturday, October 13th, the Blyth/Brussels headed to Desboro to take on the TCDMHA girls
Blyth/Brussels opened the scoring with 2 goals and then added another 2 in the 2nd to take a 4 to 0 lead.
However, the Rebel girls kept digging and finally chipped in a goal by Tristin Brown to narrow the gap..
The Rebel girls then kept the pressure on in the 3rd adding 2 more goals by Abigail Vokes assisted by Jamie Gilchrist and Jade Gilchrist but couldnt tie it up.

The Owen Sound Team Attack’s first road trip to the play the Essa Eagles Atom B team friday night was an exciting success.
With a tight scoreless game, half way through the third Riley Gordon pulls off a short handed goal assisted by Brandon Lindstrom.
Final score 1-0, shutout going to Conner Mill.
The Township of Chatsworth “Great Lakes Frame Company” Atom Rep Rebels team won 2 games and lost 1 in a tournment in Arthur on Sunday.
The Rebels opened the tournament with a win against the New Hamburg Huskies AE 4 to 0.
Robbie Hann recorded the shutout.
Hunter Schultz netted a pair and single goals by Wyatt Golem and Austin McComb. Assists to Mitchell Stevens(2), Aaron McConnell, Cory Rasmussen, McComb and Schultz.
The Rebels lost to Flesherton 6 to 2 in the second game.
Josh Currie netted both goals for the Rebels. McComb assisted on the one goal.
The final game saw the Rebels defeat the Paris Wolfpack AE team 8 to 0.
Robbie Hann recorded his second shutout of the day.
