There will be a fundraisier for Jim Moss & Family on Saturday February 20th at Lakeshore Recreation in Port Elgin beginning at 8 pm.
Moss, a former London Knights captain and National Lacrosse League player, was infected with the H1N1 virus, and now is recovering from Guillain-Barre Syndrome.
At the moment, Moss is recovering from paralysis in his legs.
The recovery process could take up to 2 years, and as a result, the family is facing significant medical costs.
The Moss Family is staging the fundraiser with both live auctions and silent auctions in order to defray the medical costs.
Admission to the evening at Lakeshore Recreation is free.
