A great week from Ryan Ellis has earned him top honours from the OHL.
The league named the 18-year-old Windsor Spitfire defenseman as the Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week.
Ellis had 7 points including 2 goals and 5 assists in 3 games with a plus minus rating of plus-1.
This is the second time this season that Ellis has been given player of the week honours.
He was named player of the week on November 3, 2008.
This is also the fifth time this season that a Spitfire player has been named player of the week.
Taylor Hall was named as player of the week October 22nd and March 23rd, and Dale Mitchell was named back on April 6th.
