The WOAA Senior Men’s Saugeen Shores Winterhawks hope to wrap up their best of seven hockey series with Shelburne tonight.
The Winterhawks lead 3-1.
Heach Coach Don Matheson says they didn’t really expect to sweep the Muskies last week – as the Winterhawks were outhustled and outplayed.
Matheson says Shelburne is a tough team – finishing third in the league – and knocking out last year’s champs.
He says tonight – home ice advantage will make all the difference – and sees no reason why the series shouldn’t end tonight – with a win over the Muskies.
Matheson says they haven’t lost a home game all season – and don’t intend to now.
Game time is 8:30 PM at the Plex in Port Elgin.
