Swing, Spring and Flip Trampoline Team Bounces to Success!
Two Swing, Spring and Flip athletes took the long journey across Ontario this weekend to compete in the 3rd Ontario Trampoline Cup in Ottawa.
In the Provincial C 11 and Under Women category, Shiann Craig proved that hard work pays off. Her first routine was clean and tight, scoring over 8 from all the judges for a routine total of 24.7. On her second routine, Shiann had excellent kickouts from all 5 of her flips and stayed in the middle of the trampoline. Again she scored high, receiving 27.2 for a total of 51.9. Her high score of the year placed her 6th overall, with less than 2 points separating the top 6 competitors.
In the Provincial B 17+ Women category, Becky Vollett had an excellent warm up, however, had a few miscues in her routine. Her score of 46.4 placed her 8th overall.
Both Becky and Shiann are qualified to compete at the Provincial Trampoline Championships in 3 weeks at Seneca College, hosted by Anti-Gravity Trampoline Club.
