Canada has been shut out of the medals at the world women’s curling championship.
Defending champion Jennifer Jones dropped a 7-6 decision to Denmark’s Angelina Jensen in the bronze-medal game.
It’s the first time since 2005 a Canadian team has finished out of the top three.
Jones was also the skip that year, struggling to a fourth-place finish in Paisley, Scotland.
Today’s gold-medal game features Sweden’s Anette Norberg taking on last year’s runner-up, Bingyu Wang of China.
