The WOAA Men’s Senior Hockey semi-final series continues this afternoon between Saugeen Shores and Shelburne.
The Winterhawks won the opener 4-3 in Shelburne last night.
Winterhawks Coach Don Matheson is encouraging all fans to wear white for support of the team.
White towels were handed out at last Friday’s home game against Palmerston – courtesy of Little’s Furniture and Dunblane and Turner – so anyone who got one is encouraged to bring them too.
Matheson says at today’s game – you can also buy a raffle ticket in support of Multiple Sclerosis.
First Concrete has donated a cement statue of a hockey player.
Proceeds from the raffle will benefit former player Steve Beauregard – who was diagnosed with MS – he will use the funds in the Walk For MS this spring.
Game time is 3:30 PM at the Plex in Port Elgin.
