The Walkerton Hawks are hoping for a different outcome against Alliston.
The Hawks and the Hornets will get re-acquainted tonight in Game 1 of the OHA Junior C Quarterfinal series.
The defending Western Junior C champions are once again taking on the defending Georgian Mid-Ontario champs.
The Hawks fell to the eventual Schmalz Cup champions in last years quarterfinal series.
This time around Walkerton has the extra home game after winning the coin toss during last Tuesdays Game 6 clinching victory in Hanover.
Last year, Alliston had home ice advantage and took the series in six games.
The Hornets are coming off a gruelling series with the Penetang Kings in which five of the six games played were decided by two goals or less.
The Hawks played a hotly contested six-game series with the Hanover Barons where the two teams combined to score at least 8 goals a game in the first five games.
Game 1 of the best-of-seven series goes tonight at the Walkerton Community Centre at 8:30 P.M.
Game 2 goes tomorrow night at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre in Alliston at 6:30 P.M.
