Competition begins today at the Canadian Ski Racing Championship at Beaupre, Quebec.
The Men’s Downhill & the Junior Ladies Downhill are scheduled for today.
Tomorrow, Larisa Yurkiw of Owen Sound will compete in the Ladies Downhill
Last weekend, Yurkiw won 3 races at the NorAm Cup at Lake Placid, New York.

Attack-Windsor
The Owen Sound Attack will host the Windsor Spitfires in game 2 of their OHL Western Conference Quarterfinal tomorrow night.
Windsor won the opening game of the best of 7; 7-4 last night at Windsor as both Rob Kwiet ( Quit ) & Ryan Ellis scored twice.
Joey Hishon, Marcus Carroll, Mike Lomas & Joe Vanni scored for Owen Sound.
Game time tomorrow night is 7:30 pm at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Center.

The opening dates in the Ontario Junior C Quarterfinal between the Walkerton Hawks & the Alliston Hornets have been set
Game 1 in the best of 7 playoff series will be Saturday night at 8:30 pm in Walkerton
Game 2 is Sunday night at 6:30 pm at Alliston
The Hawks are the two time Western Junior C Champions.
The Hornets are the two defending Georgian MidOntario Junior C Champions and the defending Ontario Champions.
Minor Hockey
The dates have been set for the O.M.H.A. Atom ” A ” Championship series between Cobourg & the Owen Sound Junior Attack
Games 1 & 2 in the series will be Saturday & Sunday afternoon at the J.D. McArthur Arena.
Saturday’s game is a 3:30 pm start
Game 2 on Sunday is set for noon.
The series shifts to Cobourg next week for game 3 in the best of 5 Championship series

Owen Sound Minor Hockey Group & the Boston Pizza Novice Hockey league will be holding their year end awards day on Saturday March 28th.
Among the highlights of the event will be the draw to announce the winner of the Boston Pizza-Bearadio Player of the year.
On every edition of Bruce Telecom Bearadio on CFOS, 1 lucky youngster from the Boston Pizza League was selected to be spotlighted during the broadcast.
All of the players selected for player of the game, will have their name entered into the draw on the 28th and the lucky winner will win a Pizza Party at Boston Pizza for their entire team.
