The Onatrio Hockey League Playoffs begin tonight.
In the East, Belleville will host Sudbury.
And in the West, the Owen Sound Attack begin their series at Windsor.
The Spitfires were the runaway leaders of the Ontario Hockey League with 115 points, 14 more than the nearest competitor.
Windsor’s total was 48 more than their first round opponent, the Attack, and thus, most expect the Spitfires to dispatch the Attack in short order.
On the year, Owen Sound & Windsor met 4 times with the Spitifres winning 3 of the four matches.
However, every game was decided by just 1 goal, and on two occasions, the Spitfires needed overtime or a shootout to beat Owen Sound.
Game 1 is a 7:05 PM start this evening at Windsor.
Game 2 is Friday night at 7:30 PM at the J.D. McArthur Arena in Owen Sound
