at Silver Star Mountain Resort near Vernon, B.C.
Ladies Giant Slalom
Ontario took the top 3 spots as Candace Crawford from Georgian Peaks won the race followed by Mary Beth Hemphill of Osler Bluff & Devon Clarke from Craigleith Ski Club.
Tannis Boisvert of Owen Sound was 11th in the race.
Boisvert posted runs of 52.58 seconds & 53.66 seconds and finished just over 2 seconds behind Crawford.
At the end of the week, the top 5 Ontario skiers will remain in B.C. and compete at the Whistler Cup.
The Slalom on Friday will be the next competition in the Ladies Division

The Ontario Timbits Elementary School Curling Championships begin today.
The event is being staged at Omemee, Lindsay & Peterborough.
At least 5 rinks who curl out of the Markdale Curling Club, 3 from Beavercrest School & 2 more from Dundalk Highpoint are competing.
