Owen Sound, ON: – The Grey Bruce Highlanders will host the SCTA Midget AAA Qualifier Weekend in Owen Sound beginning Friday March 13th, with the final games on Sunday March 15th. Games will be played in the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre & the Coliseum in Owen Sound. Game schedules and results will be available on the AAA Championship Page of the OMHA Website.
The top two teams from this tournament will advance to the OMHA AAA Midget Championship in Peterborough the following weekend March 20-22, 2009.
The Highlanders are very pleased to be hosting their first Qualifier tournament. The hockey over the weekend promises fast paced, exciting, competitive games. Please join us in Owen Sound for this exciting weekend.
The Grey Bruce Highlanders field AAA teams from Minor PeeWee to Midget. Their zone covers a large geographical area which includes Grey, Bruce and northern parts of Dufferin County. The organization is celebrating their 13th anniversary this season, and is thankful for the dedication of volunteers both past and present for their commitment to the teams and players.
