Peter Holland scored twice in the third period to give the Guelph Storm a 5-4 win over the Owen Sound Attack

Holland’s goals came less than two minutes apart as the Storm (33-25-4-3) snapped a 2 game losing streak.

Michael Latta, with a goal and an assist, Matt Kennedy and Yves Bastien also scored for Guelph.
Marc Franchini, Joey Hishon, Mike Halmo and Josh Moes found the net for the Attack (25-26-7-7), who have lost three straight.
Brandon Foote made 26 saves for the Storm, while Owen Sound netminder Tyler Beskorowany stopped 30 shots.
The attack will be at Saginaw on Thursday night and in Sarnia on Friday night.

John Tavares, expected to go first overall in this summer’s NHL entry draft, scored three goals, including the winner that earned the London Knights a 4-3 decision over the Windsor Spitfires on Sunday.
The hat trick gives Tavares 215 career goals, two more than the previous record holder Peter Lee, who had 213 goals in five seasons with the Ottawa 67’s.
Since moving into second place on the all-time list with a two-goal performance in Kitchener, Ont., on Feb. 15, Tavares has been on a tear, scoring 15 goals in 10 games.
Matt Martin scored the eventual game winner as the Sarnia Sting bombarded the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds with 53 shots in a 4-1
Brett Appio, Justin DiBenedetto and Steve Reese also scored for Sarnia (33-25-4-3).
Kyle DeCoste had the lone goal for the Greyhounds (19-43-2-2).
Dan Spence made 24 saves for the Sting, while Sault Ste. Marie netminder Cody St. Jacques stopped 49 shots.
Sergey Korostin scored the shootout winner as the Peterbroough Petes moved into a playoff position with an important 3-2 win over the Oshawa Generals Korostin beat Generals goalie Michael Zador with a low shot to the blocker side, giving the Petes the win and moving them ahead of the Sudbury Wolves and into a tie with Oshawa for seventh place in the Eastern Conference.
With three games remaining for all three teams, the Generals and Petes are now tied with 57 points, while the Sudbury Wolves have dropped to ninth with 56.
Tony Romano, short-handed, and Justin Larson, on a power play, scored in regulation for the Petes (27-35-1-2).
Brett Parnham and Tyler Taylor replied for the Oshawa (25-33-2-5).
Zador and Peterborough’s Jason Missiaen both made 34 saves.
Logan Couture had two goals and an assist to help the Ottawa 67’s earn a 6-2 victory over the Sudbury Wolves..
Couture notched the eventual winner late in the first period when he intercepted a pass in the slot and beat Wolves goaltender Alain Valiquette with a high shot.
Anthony Nigro added a goal and an assist and Thomas Kiriakou, on the power play, Thomas Nesbitt and Tyler Toffoli also scored for the 67’s (37-21-5-2), who’ve won three straight.
Goalie Adam Courchaine made 30 saves for Ottawa, which tightened its grip on third in the Eastern Conference after the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors were beaten by the Brampton Battalion on Sunday. The 67’s lead the fourth-place Majors by four points and have a game in hand entering the final week of the regular season, coach and general manager Brian Kilrea’s last behind the bench.
Meanwhile, the 67’s also dealt the Wolves’ playoff push a setback.
`It was a huge win for us,’ said Couture, who has 29 points in his last 16 games. `Killer came in before the game and preached that we need to win third place and solidify a home-ice advantage for these playoffs.
Evgeny Grachev had a goal and two assists to break Jason Spezza’s rookie points record as the Brampton Battalion defeated the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors 5-2..
Grachev now has 39 goals and 72 points this season, one more than Spezza, now with the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, recorded with the club during the ’98-’99 season (22 goals, 49 assists). Grachev broke Spezza’s mark with a short-handed goal in the second period.
`It feels good to get the record,’ said Grachev. `Hopefully, we can win our last three games and still have a chance to catch Belleville for first place in the Eastern Conference.’
The Battalion (44-19-1-1) trails the Bulls by two points atop the conference. Both teams have three regular-season games remaining.
Cody Hodgson had two goals and an assist to become the first Brampton player to record consecutive 40-goal seasons. Matt Kang and Anthony Peluso also scored for the Battalion.
Devante Smith-Pelley and Kaspars Daugavins replied for Mississauga (37-26-1-2).
Andris Dzerins scored the lone goal in the shootout as the Kingston Frontenacs came back to oust the Barrie Colts 4-3
Ethan Werek scored twice in regulation, including the tying goal with one second remaining in the third, while Nathan Moon added a goal and an assist for Kingston (17-38-6-3).
Taylor Carnevale, Adam Payerl and Alex Hutchings scored for the Colts (29-31-3-2), who are on a three-game losing skid.
Mavric Parks made 30 saves for the Frontenacs. Barrie netminder Peter Di Salvo stopped 37 shots.
