The Hawks beat the 81’s 6-4, Friday night.
It was a hard fought game from start to finish for both squads.
Palmerston came alive in the third period but just couldn’t overtake the Winterhawks.
Ryan Dudgeon with a short-handed goal, along with markers from Greg Thede, Rob Grant, Brian Kazarian, Brent MacDermid and Brian Martin, rounded out the scoring.
The Hawks have yet to lose in post season play and they put that record on Sunday night in Palmerston.
Gametime there is 8pm.
Should a 5th game be necessary it will be at the Plex next Friday night at 8:30.
