John Tavares had two goals and an assist as the London Knights beat the Kitchener Rangers 7-1.
Tavares leads the OHL with 97 points.
John Carlson had a goal and two assists for London (45-16-1-2), while Nazem Kadri, Leigh Salters, Matt Clarke and Daniel Erlich also scored. Michael Del Zotto added three assists.
Julian Cimadamore had the only goal for Kitchener (24-34-3-2).
Trevor Cann made 25 saves for London, while Parker Van Buskirk stopped 35 shots for Kitchener.
With the loss, the Rangers were eliminated from OHL playoff contention and the Owen Sound Attack clinched a spot in the Western Conference
Sarnia 4 Guelph 3
Gregg Sutch scored the winning goal in the third period as the Sarnia Sting defeated the Guelph Storm 4-3.
The win moved the Sting (32-25-3-3) within one point of Guelph (32-24-4-3) for fifth place in the Western Conference.
Guelph’s Matt Kennedy opened the scoring, but Sarnia roared to a 3-1 lead after 20 minutes on goals from Matt Martin, Jamie Arniel and Michael Neal.
Guelph came back on goals from Tyler Carroll and Tyler Melancon before Sutch put the game away.
Sarnia’s Mark Katic had three assists Guelph outshot the Sting 31-27.
Sarnia’s Dan Spence was in goal for the win, while Guelph’s Brandon Foote took the loss.
Windsor 6 Sault Ste Marie 1
Dale Mitchell scored three goals and added an assist and Andrew Engelage made 26 saves as the Windsor Spitfires hammered the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 6-1.
The win was Engelage’s league-leading 44th of the season, and pushed him to within one of tying the single season record currently held by former London Knight Steve Mason, now a member of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets.
Greyhounds goaltender Cody St. Jacques made 47 saves, and if not for his heroics the Spitfires might have scored in double figures.
The Spitfires jumped out to a 3-1 lead on Mitchell’s pair of goals and a marker by Mark Cundari. Dylan King replied for the Greyhounds in the opening period.
Scott Timmins scored in the second period, while Greg Nemisz scored his 35th of the season and Mitchell completed his hat-trick with his 31st goal of the season in the third period to round out the scoring.
Centre and Los Angeles Kings prospect Andrei Loktionov assisted on Mitchell’s third goal of the game to extend his point-scoring streak to 12 games. Star defenceman Ryan Ellis chipped in with a pair of assists for the Spitfires.

Oshawa 6 Barrie 2
Brett Parnham had three goals and two assists as the Oshawa Generals downed the Barrie Colts 6-2.
Jeff Brown, Jeff Hayes and Andy Andreoff also scored for Oshawa (25-32-2-4).
Kyle Clifford and Josh Brittain replied for Barrie (29-30-3-1).
Michael Zador stopped 44 shots for Oshawa while Peter Di Salvo made 33 saves for Barrie.
Oshawa is now tied with Sudbury for 7th in the Eastern Conference, both teams with a 3 point bulge over Peterborough who are on the outside of the playoff picture with two weeks to go.
Ottawa 6 Peterborough 3
Logan Couture scored a pair of goals to lead the Ottawa 67’s to a 6-3 win over the Peterborough Petes.
Cody Lindsay and Tyler Toffoli had a goal and assist each for the 67’s (35-21-5-2) while Thomas Kiriakou chipped in three assists. Jon Carnevale and Thomas Nesbitt also scored.
Brett Theberge, Tony Romano and Liam Heelis scored for the Petes (25-35-1-2) who fell three points behind the Oshawa Generals and Sudbury Wolves for the Eastern Conference’s final playoff spot.
Peterborough native Zac Fryia made his OHL debut in the Petes’ goal stopping all six shots he faced after replacing starting goalie Jason Missiaen who was pulled after surrendering six goals on 36 shots. Chris Perugini picked up the win for Ottawa with 28 saves.
Brampton 5 Niagara 2
Cody Hodgson scored three goals as the Brampton Battalion beat the Niagara IceDogs 5-2..
Thomas Stajan and Evgeny Grachev added a goal and an assist each for the Battalion (43-18-1-1), who moved into a tie for first in the Eastern Conference with Belleville.
Patrick Lee and Andrew Agozzino replied for the IceDogs (26-28-4-6).
Thomas McCollum made 21 saves for Brampton while Mark Visentin stopped 28 shots for Niagara.
