The Listowel Cyclones begin their chase for the Cherrey Cup as they open their Midwestern Junior B Hockey League quarter-final at home against Stratford tonight.
The Perth County rivals finished the regular season 10 points apart in the standings with Listowel earning a 30-14-and-8 record for 68 points, while Stratford compiled a record of 28 wins, 22 losses and 2 overtime losses.
Game one faces off in Listowel tonight at 7:30.
The other three series have already started with Elmira, Waterloo and Brantford winning their openers.
The only club in the nine-team loop to miss the post-season was Owen Sound who finished the regular-season with 14 points on a 6-44-and-2 record.
