Even with Easter arriving later this week, there are serious consequences if we don’t stay home.
That message from Premier Doug Ford today who added that medical supplies are strained at the moment in the Province, especially with the US not allowing any across the border.
But Ford says even with the nice weather this week, going out will only prevent the curve from flattening, which in turn will only put more strain on supplies.
The Premier says Ontario has about a week’s worth of personal protective equipment for healthcare workers but supplies are being ordered.
The Province also announced the new Support for Families initiative today which offers a one-time payment of $200 per child up to 12 years of age and $250 for those up to 21 years old with special needs.
Families can apply at Ontario’s Support for Families web page here to access the new financial support.
