Starting today, you can book a flight from Wiarton to Toronto.
FLYGTA and the Township of Georgian Bluffs say scheduled air service between Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (on the island) to the Wiarton Keppel International Airport (Grey Bruce Region including the Bruce Peninsula & Tobermory).
They say it will be wheels-up for the first time on May 24th, with a guarantee to continue to October 28th, and possibly through the winter season.
There will be flights on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays which will have an air time of roughly 40 minutes.
Flights are available for booking through www.flygta.com.
A look on the website as of April 2nd prices a flight at $175 per person, each way.
A media release from the company highlights other perks including that FLYGTA’s departures have no wait times and are served from private flight lounges.
