Huron County fans of the Tragically Hip will get to learn more about the band's iconic frontman.
The author of “The Never-Ending Present: The Story of Gord Downie and The Tragically Hip” will be speaking about his research Friday at the Huron County Museum.
While singer Gord Downie wrote uniquely Canadian songs, author Michael Barclay says the band's popularity came from discussing issues experienced by people, worldwide.
Barclay tells us Downie was apart of a wave of Canadian artists who used their lyrics to express their experiences as citizens of the True North.
Barclay will be at the Huron County Museum Friday from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. for the free reading with illustrator Nick Craine.
