There’s certainly no shortage of things to do in Bruce County so as part of both Canada and Bruce County’s 150th.
The Bruce County Adventure Passport is an annual scavenger type hunt that began on May 1st and runs right through until the end of October.
Residents and visitors of ages and abilities are encouraged to get outdoors and explore the county by visiting 17 specific destinations within Bruce County.
Participants then punch their passports at various location stops, whether they are on foot, bicycle, motorcycle stroller, car or even in a wheelchair.
There are chances to win prizes and more through the Bruce County Adventure Passport.
Passport Ballots must be submitted before October 31st.
The first 2,000 participants will get an “Explore the Bruce Adventure Passport” t-shirt, access to other great prizes and of course having fun while enjoying the great outdoors.
Budget Co-ordinator Erin Hammond says the many prizes to be won, were donated by local sponsors and include food, accommodation and recreation.
You can pick up a passport at any Bruce County Visitor Information Centre, library, museum, or at sponsor locations. Passports can also be downloaded online, at explorethebruce.com
