We won’t know for at least another couple of weeks if Collingwood council supports moving the Elvis Festival to a new location.
On Monday night, council deferred staff recommendations to move the festival to Millenium Park in an effort to save money.
Mayor Sandra Cooper says there are groups who still need to discuss the idea and offer their input so council has deferred the matter until the next council meeting at the end of the month (November 28).
The 2016 Collingwood Elvis Festival had a deficit of 23 thousand dollars.
