Police in Owen Sound say two young men ransacked a vending machine at the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre on 10th Street East.
Officers with the OSPD tell Bayshore Broadcasting News at 7 PM on Thursday two people hauled a vending machine into the washroom at the YMCA, removed the front paneling and stole the money from the collection tray.
The thieves then left the washroom, and were last seen travelling westward.
Both young men are described as white; one was wearing a black baseball hat, a black shirt and shorts, while the other had shaggy hair, a baseball hat and a backpack.
