There is a new doctor in Kincardine.
Dr. Catherine Ciszkowski will start her practice in the municipality starting in January 2019.
She completed her medical degree at McMaster University in Hamilton in 2013 and finished her family medicine residency training via Western University’s regional training program in 2015.
She has also helped author several publications, including a communication published in the medical journal, New England Journal of Medicine. Prior to initiating her medical studies, she completed her Master’s Degree at Western University, where her research interests focused on the ability of a person’s genetics to affect drug safety, primarily in breastfeeding mothers.
Dr. Catherine Ciszkowski husband ,Pawel Przeracki, is the new Corporate Pharmacist at South Bruce Grey Health Centre and will start in July.
Officials with the Kincardine Physicians Group say the community is growing rapidly and it is wonderful to have an extra doctor join our team.
At this time, there are no plans for Dr. Ciszkowski to take over Dr. Blechers practice as they say they hope to recruit another doctor prior to January.
The current Kincardine physicians will be sharing coverage of Dr. Blecher’s practice, patients should receive notice of their (interim) doctor by mid July.
