Raceways in Clinton and Hanover are one step closer to resuming live attendance of harness racing.
A joint press release from the Hanover Raceway and Clinton Raceway says both facilities will allow “1 owner and a guest, of horses racing on that day’s race card to attend, up to a maximum of 100 guests,” beginning Saturday and Sunday.
The COVID-19 outbreak has barred patrons from enjoying live sports since March.
Raceway officials in Clinton and Hanover say masks will be required to enter the facility, but will not be required in outdoor settings on the premises.
Both facilities will have no food or beverages available, and there will be no live tellers available for wagering.
Any wagers can be made online.
